Sarian under the tutelage of J.R. “BoB” Dobbs, founder of the Church of the SubGenius, is a theological society and content conspiracy of abstemious recovered and hopelessly addicted, limply passive and rudely aggressive, pathetically activistic and tragically apathetic, fiercely reactionary and blithely liberal freaks and squares, motorheads and Deadheads, fucking assouls and dirty cunts, homophobic straights and flaming queers, smug heroes and glum losers, inscrutable autists with skewed view and neurotypicals with nary a clue.. Publishing its flagship print periodical Food for Birds, People for Profit, and posting the Rant of the SubGenius to the whirled-wide web, the Mid Coast Sub Church of Paranoia is a fount of puzzling evidence, forbidden knowledge, and lost wisdom for those who dare to be uncommon. Each Rant of the SubGenius is meticulously translated from original gibberish, transcribed into literary text, and transmitted via various media to any who have eyes to see and ears to hear the frightening truth. The Mid Coast Sub Church of Paranoia is non-partisan, sponsors no candidate, endorses no policy. The Rant of the SubGenius is not advocacy, but a spastic spew of a range of messages received from a variety of sources, juxtaposed to highlight absurdity endemic in Normal culture.
