Disclosure Could Undermine Public Confidence

Again it is reported authorities did not tell the truth so the public would not lose confidence. Well, there is no better way to lose people’s confidence than not telling the truth. 

That is not all. Attempts at censorship to control public opinion are never airtight. Truth may be suppressed to a great degree on commercial platforms, but truth has a way of leaking out, creating an un-authorized counter-narrative. Quite aside from any embarrassment of exposure, the existence of an incompatible counter-narrative instills cognitive dissonance in the public. Polarized by opposing views, plebs feel obligated to take sides, dismissing one or the other narrative as propaganda, or disinformation, their proponents as lunatics, or terrorists. 

It is possible legal, ethical, and moral justification exists for the mystification of the people. That people, if fully armed with the whole truth, would “lose confidence” and stop complying with mandates, resulting in collapse of civil order. It is hard to say which is more cynical: founding social stability upon deception and ignorance.. or presuming people would become ungovernable had they access to the truth. Either way, the underlying premise persists that corporate/government is deliberately dishonest to deceive people into acting against their best interests. It’s a confidence game, it’s a CON, it’s the CONspiracy.

To paraphrase Honest Abe – It is possible to fool most of the people most of the time. Also W - Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and… can’t get fooled again! Soon come time when those who are not fools will punish those who are not honest.

Conspiracy theorist - a psychologically disturbed individual who poses a threat to society by virtue of his questioning of commonly held opinions of the majority.

A US District Court recently ruled that mercury based preservatives in infant vaccines is not a causal factor in juvenile autism, precluding any compensation for families of autists who may have used the drugs. Soon courts may rule that AIDS is caused by a virus, foreclosing research into the actual causes of immune system collapse. Perhaps also that cigarettes do not cause lung cancer, preventing class action suits against the tobacco industry from gaining traction. There is no reason for the courts to stop there. Another ruling may stipulate that appetite stimulants in junk food do not cause obesity, that hormones in meat products do not cause secondary sexual development in consumers, that Gardasil does not kill teenage girls, that genetic modification of lifeforms poses no risks to consumers or the environment, that ionizing radiation doesn't burn, that coal dust does not cause black lung, that beatings do not cause bruises. Courts have already ruled that TASERS do not cause death. Any such legal determinations about health issues do nothing whatever to make sufferers feel better; they are intended to make corporate chiefs feel better about promoting unsafe products and brutal policies by eliminating any legal recourse for customers and citizens.

Couldn't the methodology be applied outside health science? By now it is practically a given that official reports of important events are at significant variance with witness accounts, physical evidence, and often the laws of physics. Courts could rule that the USS Maine was sunk by Spain, that the sixteenth amendment was duly ratified by the requisite 38 states, that Pearl Harbor was an unprovoked surprize attack, that Lee Harvey acted alone, that there were torpedoes in the Gulf of Tonkin, that Egyptian warplanes bombed and strafed the USS Liberty, that a Saudi national in a cave in Afghanistan was responsible for the destruction of the towers, that terrorism is unrelated to imperial foreign policy, that economic contraction is not the intended outcome of inequitable, usurious fiscal policy. Life would be a lot simpler if these controversies, like the 2000 election, were laid to rest once and for all by vote of a select body that knows what is best for everyone. Whereas once the courts were arbiters of truth in disputes between aggrieved parties, now they are elevated to being arbiters of truth in science, and history. In a world where controversy is dysfunction, certitude by court order paves the way for an untroubled society of consensual ignorance.

People do not have the time, patience or tolerance to practice consensus for political process, preferring instead to delegate policy formation to majorities of impaneled expurts. How else could government stray so far from the wishes of constituencies? Instead, the lumpen proletariat relies upon consensus for intelligence. More people believe something is true, whether science or history, the truer it is. The computer/internet matrix aids this process by allowing real time revisions of popular consensus of fact, deleting the previous version forever. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia; has never been at war with Eurasia. 

Permanent records stating otherwise are incorrect, or propaganda disseminated by malcontents. The Pentagon spends billions on "public relations", pulling the plug on "enemy" sites that contend waging war against civilians is somehow a bad thing. The US Air Force has an entire division of computer geeks specializing in cyberwarfare. The internet has become a battlefield where hackers attack each other's sites, moving and removing information to the point there is no telling if the site you're visiting is a virginal virtual site or a violated virtual site. The revolution will not be televised; computers are television; the internet is PHALSE SLACK.

As globalism becomes one world religion, all points of view are homogenized into a consensus-based reality that accords no relevance to facts. Objective scientific analysis and dispassionate historical accounts already defer to the dictates of the web of belief. As H L Mencken observed wryly: The more heads the better, no matter what is in them. When future events unfold, witnesses will turn to corporate controlled courts for a determination of what it was they saw (if they know what's good for them). There will be no disagreement, there will be no conspiracy theories, there will be no discussion of what really happened. In a recent radio broadcast of Woodstock Nation on WERU FM, Mark calmly announced James Earl Ray assassinated Dr. Martin Luther King. However he failed to mention the witness accounts, and puzzling evidence indicating the fatal shots originated from another direction than the rooming house Ray is supposed to have used as a sniper post. For example: a tree obscuring Dr. King's motel balcony from Ray's bathroom window was cut down by the city immediately after the shooting. A listener called in to correct the record, reminding Mark that repetition of false history is collusion, to which Mark replied he would be adhering to the popular version of events. Way to go Mark! You'll never get fired. Alas, another enquiring mind bites the dust.

Isn't that what everybody does anyway? Who needs the courts? If everyone says pigs fly, then they do! President Obomba repeated bin Laden is a threat to America, even though Osama is widely known around the world to be long dead. Fagetaboutit! Robert Gates said He's more valuable as a symbol than as a leader. He's okay! They're keeping him cool, keeping the ice on him. He may remain a threat forever! Get over it! Besides, a terrorist can only threaten people. It takes a questioning mind to threaten society. Any awkward truth becomes a conspiracy theory if it can be declared wrong by an authorized panel. In Europe people are charged with "holocaust denial" for averring claims of mass murder are unsupported in their full extent by actual evidence. In America people are persecuted for doubting peer-reviewed analysis of the epidemiology of HIV=AIDS was ever published, even though no such report exists. Today it is offensive to say these things, tomorrow it will be offensive even to think these things. Allegiance to media promulgated science and history is required for citizens to be in good standing. It's a 24/7 red pill/blue pill thing. If at any time you might intimate there is a difference between what is on TV and what you hear from witnesses, or read in books, or see for yourself, you'll come under suspicion. You're already under surveillance. Don't do it! Don't read this! Don't even think about it!

It dawns on the American public that dis-information is pretty much anything that dissesthe rich and powerful, that “fact-checkers” are actually editors parsing true accounts of corporate/government misfeasance from public view, that network news is a pipeline of propaganda for the warfare state and a curtain of censorship of daily moreality. Sensing a groundswell, the Bidden administration confronts the wave of citizens’ arousal by creating a Disinformation Bureau. Its innate purpose is to seek and stamp out any counterpoint to state-approved facts and perspectives of current events, past history, scientific research, vetting all digital systems for content corrosive to monopole power structuring. THAT should make free speech safe for democracy. Or something.

This is Reverend Doktor C. Sarian with the voice of the Mid Coast Sub Church of Paranoia.

Today’s installment: History of lies.

All human institutions depend upon lies for structural continuity. From pre school to the United Nations, organizations promulgate lies to control their constituencies. The most egregious example is the nation/state. The nation/state lies to its people to garner popular support for war.

When the S.S. Lusitania departed New York, warnings were offered by the German embassy there was a risk of U-Boot attack, but the warnings were censored by local media. Off the coast of Ireland the vessel was duly torpedoed, and sank, taking, among others, over a hundred American lives. While it is true the vessel sank and people died, the truth ended there. The sinking was portrayed as naked aggression against a pacific commercial vessel, and as a result of public outrage, America was thrust into the European war. Recent archeological findings show Lusitania was loaded with munitions, secondary explosions of which hastened the sinking.  In fact, the governments of the United States and Great Britain deliberately used civilian passengers as human shields for a shipment of war materiel, and exploited the subsequent legitimate wartime sinking of a belligerent vessel as a cassus belli for the U.S. to go to war, against the wishes of the American people.

The list goes on:

Pearl Harbor was fake.

The JFK assassination was fake. 

Gulf of Tonkin was fake.

The Murrah building bombing was fake.

9/11 was fake.

Sure people really died, but the conclusions drawn from these events are falsified for political purposes. The very real deaths just make it all so much more credible.

All these so called “deep events” are theatrical productions intended to stampede ignorant citizens into blind obedience to the CONspiracy. The recent Boston bombing is no exception. Amputees were recruited to play the part of victims for prime photo ops, many anomalies were recorded (that’s why cops confiscate recording devices at these events), mercenaries were seen in the crowd, and suspicions were steered toward foreigners, Muslims, dark skinned persons. A Saudi student in Michigan was interrogated by the FBIwhen he carried a rice dish in a pressure cooker. They told him to be very careful when carrying one of those, as if cookware is now considered too dangerous for public use. Whether the marathon bombing was the random act of a lone nut or a carefully choreographed black op, it was a test event for locking down an entire city under martial law, a tactic praised by sheeple throughout the Boston metropolitan area.

As Josef Goebbles succinctly put it: you keep up the lies even at the risk of looking ridiculous. With news media complicit in preventing true accounts from reaching the public, it may be another hundred years before the true facts about Boston become generally know, but then, no one will care, any more than people today care about the Lusitania.

Fight truth decay! Spit out candy coating!  Chew all reports thoroughly before swallowing!

Like USS Maine, Pearl Harbor, JFK, 9/11, pandemic has entered the pantheon of Deep Events accompanied by a shadow – its very own truth movement.  Though Arabs, Oswald, Japan and Spain will forever bear blame, abundant, albeit hidden evidence indicates such history is an elaborate, deliberate fraud. Planning, execution and reporting of all Deep Events are covered by layers of falsity. Now in its fourth year, pandemic has solidified into the usual polemic. 

At one pole are those whose information about pandemic comes exclusively from commercial sources, that is to say media financed by big pharm. All news reports are really advertising for drug culture, and all advertising is instructional video for the masses. The authorized version of pandemic is firmly implanted in the minds of billions, so firmly that they can brook no rebuttal, no discussion, no question. Not because they know any better than the next guy, but they are convinced they do. They respond with instinctive hostility toward anyone proffering information that casts doubt upon what is on TV. 

Accompanying the monolithic virus/vaccine paradigm is a legion of clinicians, researchers, executives who rebut that paradigm, warn of disastrous outcomes. They are just as adamant that virus is fake and vaccine is fatal. What’s a mother to do? There is no middle ground, there is no room for doubt. Anyone who so much as raises a question or advocates discussion is quickly branded a denier, a dangerous disinformationist and dismissed as irrelevant, foolish, troubled. With each new demarche the pendulum swings from one pole to the other to sustain the mystery.

In today’s topsy-turvy whirled everything is reversed: conservatives are today’s radicals, claiming liberty to practice traditional values of monotheism, monogamy, money. Liberals are today’s reactionaries, insisting on punishment and apartheid – based not on skin color, but on political affiliation and vax-status – advocating sexual dysphoria, domestic austerity, censored media, centralized economy. Pandemic is but one hot-button topic that defines the battle lines between the righteous, and the self-righteous. Each side is drawn up in irreconcilable opposition – control freaks versus freedom-buffs. Control freaks promise everything will be fine if everyone just obeys. Freedom-buffs think it was already fine. 

In the long run, there is no mystery about those who have to die. The sailors, presidents, office workers, patients are sacrificed to provide fresh meat to Mammon as proof terror exists as a force unto itself – indiscriminate, unpredictable, implacable. 

Because what matters is not which theory is right or wrong, but that it remain in contention, an eternally unsolvable mystery with one theory bolstered by official claims and relentless propaganda, the other by actual evidence and first-hand testimony.

But which is which??

Parenthetical lies are qualifying comments tacked onto any event or person to direct readers to adopt political bias preferred by overlords.

Assassination of archduke Ferdinand, which started WW I. Instead of readers drawing their own conclusion about entropolitics, they must understand that the outrageous murder of an hereditary monarch was the proximal cause for global holocaust in which people took 100 million of each other’s lives. Aside from the absurd presumption Princip was the prototypical “lone nut”, no mention is made that since the Franco-Prussian war put France out of action, German and British colonial ambitions clashed in a dozen poor countries rich in mineral wealth. On both sides, bellicose rhetoric ratcheted up from the turn of the new century. Minions of empire clamored for war, which They hoped would expand Their territory quickly and cheaply, quell internal unrest, and restore revenue. The death of insignificant royals may have preceded hostilities, but even had they lived, military momentum was such that by July of 1914 the war party was unstoppable. WW I happened because armaments manufacturers wanted war. 

Lee Harvey Oswald, who killed president Kennedy. Lee was convicted in the court of public opinion when Life magazine published a faked photo of him brandishing the alleged murder weapon. Oswald in turn was killed before he could testify, but not before being interrogated by feds - who lost the record - and denying he shot anyone. Organized crime wanted a return to the casino days of fascist Cuba. Kennedy pulled US military out of an invasion of the newly liberated island nation planned by CIA to restore profitability for mob affiliates. 

HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. In 1968 Congress tasked DOD with inventing a biological agent that would affect specific ethnic groups. The time line proposed was 12 years. In 1980 cases of wasting disease began to appear in Haitien and gay communities. That’s a start! AIDS drugs made billions for big pharm as patients lingered for decades.

George Bush, who was elected president. Of no other US president has it been de rigeurto affix who was elected president to every iteration. With an openly fraudulent election, the idiot son of previous president, scion of ancient bloodline, was installed as the sock puppet head of state by the aristocracy/military alliance rather than permit dark horse populists into office who might retard Their agenda of warfare and financial domination.

9/11, when Arab terrorists attacked America, flying planes into buildings. Within 24 hours of horrendous explosions in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania, mass media announced identities of the perpetrators were known to authorities. Though their bodies were vaporized, or crushed, along with 3,000 Americans, their undamaged passports were found amid the destruction, providing positive ID. Obvious demolition of the buildings refuted nonsense about sky-jacking, crashes, and jet fuel causing cement and steel skyscrapers to dissolve into dust. Prescient investors profited billions on airline put options. Previously prepared legislation paved over the Republic for a convoy of military and police funding.

Covid-19, which caused global pandemic. Nazi doctors have experimented withpandemic for decades. HIV-AIDS was a test run. Lyme, Legionaire Disease, Swine Flu, Zika, all failed to generate the level of terror achieved in the 1918 influenza epidemic. Stakeholders convened in October 2019 to plan more successful pandemic, including mandates to annul laws protecting citizens’ freedom. Within 72 hours of release, SARS COV-19 spread around the world, prompting global shut-down which enabled a strategic transfer of enormous wealth up the chain of command. 

Climate change, which is caused by human activity. Having abandoned the previous meme of Human Caused Global Warming during stubborn temperature stability, conspirators adjusted environment terror messaging to Human Fueled Climate Change. Whereas once “runaway warming” was alarming, with climate change it could go either way! Hotter or colder, from light bulbs to carbon credits, big business will make hay. “Worst hurricane in almost a century” indicates it was even worst before that. “Climate change will destroy the planet” is rubbish. Earth’s climate changes – always has. The planet will be fine, particularly if changing climate kills off the humans. 

Ukraine war, which began with the February 2022 Russian invasion. Ukraine has been Greek, French, Russian, German, Soviet as great empires contended for its fertility. Lies of “not one inch eastward” shattered as NATO generals eyed Ukraine for a forward operating base only 250 km from Moscow in the globalist crusade to destabilize the Russian Federation. In 2014 a US orchestrated coup ousted democratically elected government from Kiev, installing professional clown Volodymir Zelensky as figurehead of the proxy state’s new fascist regime. Ukraine military waged war of genocide against ethnic Russian civilians in disputed border zones, provoking Russian intervention. Ukraine loses battles, support, media focus as more important war theatre opens in the Levant.

Gaza war, which began Oct. 7 when Hamas attacked Israel. Framing it like that casts Hamas as a sovereign nation, with a competent military establishment capable of invading another nation. It could be stated otherwise: on October 7 long-standing global war accelerated when Palestinian militants broke through walls surrounding their concentration camp, which Israeli forces defended with reprisals targeting its civilians. Apart from perpetuating ancient tribal warfare, Nakba.2 provides a trigger for wider regional war where assoul imperialists may test new bombs, poisons, combat robots currently arriving aboard US battleships.

It is an axiom of history that nothing happens They did not want to happen, and what They want to happen is war. Time and again the dark hand of capital supports both opposing sides to sustain combat, and arms shipments. It is a trick of oratory to affix a slanted cant to established fact to manipulate perception. The public conscience must continually be convinced war is winnable, justifiable, worth it! Profound is the cynicism of the lords of war. To Them the world is but a grand chessboard upon which people are not even pieces, they are just the board. As Lily Tomlin cracked wisely No matter how cynical you get, it’s hard to keep up!

Ari Fleischer has told Americans they better watch what they say. As ominous a portent as this may be, coming from the White House, for the freedoms Americans hold dear, it really is good advice when looked at in a broader perspective.

What happens in the political world other than assassinations and mechanized mass murder is words. Just words. The nutzo fascist right, as incoherent as their dicta may seem when evading pointed questions or rationalizing their insane deeds, actually have taken word management to an extreme degree of sophistication. Realizing the average American only has enough attention span for a bumper sticker, their agitprop phrases are couched very effectively in that format. One of the best is Just Say No! Another potent one is God Bless America! Buy War Bonds! Loose Lips Sink Ships! Support The Troops! United We Stand! the list goes on. Even less complex than haiku, they have a punchy rhythm, they deliver their message efficiently, and they evoke visceral response in the teeming masses that have been preconditioned to certain key words. 

The challenge that presents to the loyal opposition is they are very hard to deconstruct even with lengthy prosaic dialectic, however well reasoned. And their converse is never as effective, obviously playing a losing game of catch up. Just Say Yes! simply doesn't grab people the way Just Say No! does, eventhough it might make a lot more sense in the context of political progress. Progress is not what they are after. The bumpersticker sloganizing of the idiot right is so effective in fact, that even progressives, alternatives and radicals feel compelled to parrot them back, as if chanting the catechisms of the CONspiracy will somehow shield them from retribution as antis. 

We Support The Troops, Bring Them Home! makes literal sense, but by reiterating the rightist dogma, the very protest supports the dogs of war too. It is self evident the public support the troops; that is where all the tax money goes. We couldn't NOT support the troops if we wanted to, so why state the obvious?

Saddam Is A Vicious Tyrant. Once again, true enough in a geopolitical sense, but why give the fascists the airtime? You can look around your own neighborhood for tyrants and find them under every rock. Not all that rare! Tyrant is an archetype in human culture. Some have even proposed that tyrant is a genome of human DNA. Not us, but among us. Maybe we can eliminate them by carpet bombing the neighborhood, but typically they escape with the cash moments before the bunker buster hits, and the only casualties are collateral. Saddam is probly sipping iced tea in an air conditioned penthouse in Miami right now, laughing at how he and Osama and their CIA handlers have pulled another wooly one over the eyes of the working, paying, suffering multidudes of the world. 

We Toppled A Dictatorship. Toppling a dictatorship isn't that hard, in fact they topple of their own weight all the time, eventually. And if that were really the agenda proffered by the rightists, there wouldn't be dictatorships in a hundred countries in America, Africa, Europe and Asia. THOSE dictatorships are "friendly" regimes. That doesn't mean they are nice to people; No! Far from it. What that means is that they obey memoranda from the U.S. Department of State. In other words they are friendly to the interests of the military industrial corporate new world order, even while they murder their citizens by the thousands or hundreds of thousands, clear cut the last remnants of the world's tropical rain forests, or beggar their economies with purchases of weapons while billions starve in terror. Besides, countries the U.S. has liberated tend to fall immediately under the sway of new dictatorships of warlords, drug cartels or the chaos of desperate mobs released from totalitarian restraint, gleaning the ravaged landscape of demolished infrastructure for subsistence. Afghanis and Iraqis, as oppressed as they were in 2000, are far worse off today than before being "liberated" by Anglo American militaries.

We Won. That is a good one. If Saddam or Osama can't be located, if there are no weapons of mass destruction, if there is no improvement in the lives of the denizens of lands the U.S. has bulldozed, if there is no mitigation of the threat of terrorist attacks against Americans, at least, in the sense of utterly overwhelming by sheer weight of metal a supine, backward, fourth rate country that had been inspected for weapons and come up empty, yes we won. As if winning were the reason to go to war in the first place. Well, it is! After the horrors, and humiliations of the "loss" of Vietnam (a country we never "had"), the U.S. military establishment regrouped and formulated a policy of demonstrating U.S. power by waging winnable wars against much weaker enemies to minimize commitments of time, limit expenditures, reduce casualties - at least among U.S. personnel - but particularly to forestall the revulsion of feeling in the American public, and consequent momentum of the peace movement. Even though the Baby George administration has promised a future policy of endless warfare, eternal conflict has been and will be compartmentalized as neat, affordable, low risk, "winnable" multiple wars, each showing of which will be over before you know it, undermining any effective protest. But by the time protesters have kicked off their shoes and cracked a beer after a long, fruitless day at the barricades, the troops are already being boarded on flights to the next mini war theatre half a world away from, or right next door to the last. So, we win the war? So what? We always lose the peace.

It seems so frustrating, that nothing can be done to stop the all consuming juggernaut of global war while bridges and schools everywhere crumble from lack of funding, and the Bill of Rights is balled up like old chewing gum wrapper and tossed in the trash can of history. There are plenty things that can be done, but one of the first things that can be done by the billions of people worldwide who do not want, need or abide war is to stop mouthing the moronic words of the vampire warmongering elite. You never hear Cheney or Rumsfeld say Peace is cool, but we just don't think that open negotiations and the rule of international law is the way to go about it. No! So why should peaceniks repeat their stupid sayings? The only people who support war are either stockholders of Halliburton, GE, Bechtel, or utterly duped by the potent, if simplistic slogans of the warniks. New slogans are needed to seduce couch potatoes away from mindlessly applauding the mayhem. Here are few examples:

Apparently people are still having sex because there are more of them than ever. In Utah a woman bearing twins was told by her doctor that if she didn't have a C-section one of the babies would die. She declined. One of the twins came out fine, the other stillborn. Oh well, one out of two ain't bad! Not to the state, which charged the woman with murder. The media underwrote the prosecution by alleging the woman had a history of mental illness. You have to be mentally ill not to undergo an expensive and risky surgical procedure. Of more importance is that a potential life is lost to the state. It's only a step to requiring women to get pregnant. Recently the resident signed into law a bill that would provide for a separate felony count in cases of crimes of violence against a woman who is pregnant. Clearly a stepping stone on the road toward defining a fetus as a person in order to overturn Roe v. Wade, the bill is said by its right-to-life supporters to be only a ratcheting up of existing penalties to deter violence against women. How are assailants supposed to know? Pink sleeve bands? Only in the third trimester? What if she conceived the night before and doesn't even know it yet? Will all women victims be required to submit to a pregnancy test?

As millions of harm reductionists worldwide militate against drug prohibition, the U.S. drug war continues apace as a theatre of all out war. Others unidentifiable as communists or terrorists can still be killed if they can be identified as drug dealers. In Thailand for example there have been during the last year over seven thousand extrajudicial executions of alleged drug dealers. It isn't enough to be guilty of possession of a substance ON the person, but soon guilt will be tied to having metabolites of the substance IN your person. Aside from the ominous attenuation of fifth amendmentprotection posed by this legislation, it establishes a significant shift from guilt for doing to guilt for being.

The roots of rock n roll probably extend to the start of history, when patrists instituted mind control and lovers learned to make communication underground through art. During the ascendancy of the Catholic Church there were bans on certain scales and chords as being "demonic". Rock n roll in the 1950's was reviled by the CONspiracy as lewd and rebellious before being absorbed by the music industry. The sight of Elvis's gyrating, though fully clothed midriff was deemed too graphic for viewers; the performer was televized cropped below the waist. One simply didn't hear or see fuck at all, though it was the language of the streets. Today that has changed. Art now features fuck, and because it sells, the music industry cannot ignore it. But they still have to bow to the puritanical doctrines of the Christian right and so MTVideos are bleeped and masked. Because it is the language of the streets, sometimes it is mostly bleeps. Everyone listening knows the words represented by the brief dead spots in the sound track and everyone viewing knows that vague brown circle around the midriff actually sports a crack. No one is fooled, no one is protected.  The message isn't only that sex is bad. The real message is You should be okay with someone you don't even know controlling what you see and hear.

U.S. attorney general Ashcroft is conducting a crusade to install the fucked up mores of monotheism not only on his own kind, but on the world at large. Essentially if it is pleasurable, superstitious sectarian stooges condemn it as sinful. Johnny boy is alleged to not drink, smoke, swear, dance or chew gum (they didn't say what he does with his penis, if any..). Believing those are "bad" things to do, he feels righteous as he denies others the right to do those things. John Walters, drug czar (czar - an unelected ruler known for ostentatious consumption and callous brutality. Perfect!) has averred There is no legitimate discussion of legalizing drugs. The White House has declared that because drugs are illegal, they have a duty to spend millions of tax dollars campaigning against citizens' initiatives to change the law. Can a country without legitimate discussion and with an administration determined to operate contrary to popular sentiment be called a democracy? Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction has ushered in a spate of renewed right wing interest in squelching sex wherever it may pop out. How much did they pay her? Despite the billions consumers pay willingly and legally for sexual services every year, the government has announced a draconian new clampdown on the "obscene", declaring "nothing is off the table", meaning that any graphic display of sexuality will be targeted. Despite all the squealing about removing religious icons from secular governmental institutions and rituals ("under God" was added to the pledge of allegiance in 1953 as a counterpoint to "godless communism"), there is no effective separation of church and state. The U.S. is a Christian nation, with all the horrors that implies. Christian zealots in positions of authority are abusing their offices to advance their cult's agenda against anyone who is willing to take a break from the killing to get high and have some fun.

Terrorism – don’t you hate it? So many terror events these days, how can you feel safe?  Because the government comes in after the fact and violates your civil rights?

Violating your civil rights has nothing to do with stopping terrorism, but terrorism has everything to do with violating your civil rights. Making passengers strip is no prophylactic against previously placed plastic explosives, but previous explosions are a perfect excuse to make people strip.

It’s a funny thing about these deep terror events. Aside from concurrent drills featuring identical scenarios, fortuitous finds of undamaged identity documents, and immediate destruction of physical evidence, no one gets prosecuted for perpetrating such acts. The only prosecutions that ensue are of patsies and whistleblowers who could reveal the truth to the public. It doesn’t matter if it was rag heads in a cave or big wigs in a tower who blew up buildings, truth is the real terror. 

In 1948 George Orwell wrote 1984. His futuristic dystopian tale features a network of TVs that is ubiquitous, and interactive. The chilling revelatory moment comes when the telescreen orders: Smith, Winston, bend lower! In 1948 there hardly WERE TVs. Did Orwell foretell the future? Or did he design it?

NSA director James Clapper (where do they get these guys?) opined The Internet of Things is the next adjunct to the surveillance grid formerly known as Total Information Awareness. Billions of “smart” consumer goods from coffee makers to cel phones upload real time data about usage into the cloud, allowing conspirators to create profiles of every citizen’s life from patterns of use.

Samsung recently warned purchasers of their new “smart” TVs should be careful what they say in proximity to their device because much vaunted touch-free command systems depend upon voice recognition algorithms, which require uploading ambient sounds to central for analysis. Sounds innocent, doesn’t it? It’s a fabulous new feature you can have fun with! From across the room you can command your set to turn on, turn off, go loud, go soft; but it is never really off. Today’s equipment is permanently powered up, always sending, whether you think it is on or not. Naturally they would never record the content of your conversation.

Terror events are intended to terrorize the populace; they do not terrorize the elite because terror consolidates the power of the state, plus they get warned to stay home. What terrorizes the elite is the public finding out what really happened. Sure, surveillance gives them a handle on criminal activities, but its intended effect is to chill political discourse. People are being detained, arrested, imprisoned for tweeting trigger words in otherwise mundane messages, or wearing T-shirts with contrarian slogans. In a watch-what-you-say society, it is better to keep your yap zipped, and avoid eye contact, if you know what’s good for you.

The baron de Rotten Shilled said If the people knew how money is created, there would be a revolution by morning. That’s why it is critical to imprison specialists, murder journalists and impugn activists – to replace truth with truthiness, for crowd control. That’s funny too, because these conspirators are out of control.

US Alt-Left are coincidence theorists, categorically denying any conspiracy is involved in planning or managing events that steer the course of future history. The Nation, Counterpunch, Mother Jones, NPR, Chomsky, Hedges, Goodman, et al. eschew any suggestion of deception on the part of government in their content. Can it truly be despite abundant evidence of connivance on the part of top administraitors, they can’t imagine any alternative explanation for the bizarre departure from logical reason and laws of physics inherent in official accounts of assassinations, bombings and pandemics? Relying on squishy, low-definition terms like “implausible”, “unlikely”, “absurd”, “ridiculous”, “inconceivable”, “nonsense” to deter serious discussion without publicly denying true facts, they assiduously skirt the issue of corporate/government complicity. Chomsky, the greatest mind of a generation, confidently declares deep events are not important, averring he is not interested in pursuing truth that deviates from establishment-approved narratives. 

Not interested? Quite the contrary. He is interested in his credibility, his career, hiscontract more than any altruistic notion of sharing wisdom with common folk. These are intelligent people. They have more access to various sources of information than most ordinary citizens, and their age and experience give the lie to any claim of ignorance. They know the truth, but they can’t divulge because they are media marionettes who would be de-platformed for allowing any hint of lese-majesty to slip from their lips on air, if not winding up in a roadside ditch wrapped in plastic. Their credibility powers influence over millions of otherwise thoughtful people, turning them off any supposition of official malfeasance in pollution, terror, pandemic, and war. They know better, but they make everyone believe these odd events are naturally occurring, have no context or cause, and especially do not profit any particular party. Their will not be an answer let it be attitude toward deep events is diverting, but dishonest. Each of these pundits is Judas, receiving thirty pieces of silver in exchange for betraying the world to oppression by lords of war. They must believe they have booked a berth in the bunkers.
