WERU-FM Community Soapbox (Part 1)

Good morning! This is Reverend Doktor C. Sarian, voice of the Mid Coast Sub Church of Paranoia, with a paranoid look at the month’s news on the Murphy Channel.

The Alt-Right. Gotta hate ‘em, right? They’re Nazis, they’re racist, they’re sexist, they’re tasteless. You hear it all the time on community radio. One thing you do not hear is they are hypocrites. What you see is what you get. In fact, they are fiercely proud of being despicable jerks.

Not so the Alt-Left. Progressives hide in hypocrisy because they know that at its core, their crusade to right the whirled’s wrongs is a campaign to seize control of established power structures, not to smash them. 

Climate change presents a challenge to everyone.  So called climate change advocates poison the well with hyperbole like “runaway warming” and “planetary destruction”. It’s unscientific, it’s hysterical, it’s globalist Agenda 21.

Activists of another color are pulling down memorials to warriors of the Confederacy, defunct 152 years. One toppler exclaimed of the effigy of Stonewall Jackson that He owned slaves; he was not a “benign war hero”. Military mass murder is okay as long as generals are not racist.

Climate activists support the troops too! While telling everyone to buy new bulbs and new cars, they give the Pentagon, whirled’s biggest polluter, a free pass. Whose side are they on? They can envision the end of the whirled, but not the end of the CONspiracy.

At heart, progressives are capitalists, defaulting to corporate structuring in all endeavors. One impassioned apparatchik boasted they had incorporated legally as an organization. Nonsense! Anyone can be an organization. Truthfully, they organized legally as a corporation, but they don’t like to say “corporation”, preferring “non-profit organization”, or simply “non-profit” to sound less greedy.

Community radio is supposed to be a collective, but that is just pabulum for volunteers. To the reel whirled, WERU.FM is a corporation, a business, with a product for sale, an executive in charge, and assets that can be seized. 

With Citizens United, the corporation is a real person, while people are merely citizens. Soon, outside the purview of corporate structuring, all citizens – left or right – will cease to exist altogether.

Reinventing the wheel is not progress. It is corporate structuring that created this mess in the first place. The fly struggles against the web, but it is the spider that is the enemy. Left against right is fake news. It is the CONspiracy against everyone! Dismantle all statues! Disband all militaries! Dissolve all corporations!

Climate change continues unabated, but not undebated. The loudest voices are left-liberal climate change advocates who insist climate change can be stopped if only billions of climate deniers can be convinced change is inevitable. Then after a hard day at the roadblock, they drive home, pop a frozen pizza in the microwave and click on Netflix. Meanwhile, billions of benighted climate change deniers are doing nothing at all to stop the climate changing.

Many hardcore deniers believe climate change is God’s punishment for human homosexuality. Obviously, geologic evidence of climate is the result of gay marriage between dinosaurs. 

The most dangerous deniers are those cosmologists who for some reason expect people to believe the Sun, largest, most powerful local energy source, has something to do with Earth’s climate, and always has. Absurd. They are funded by the petroleum industry.

The ultimate narcissism of the left is the anthropocentric certainty climate change can be arrested if people could be arrested for releasing carbon. But it will take a lot more than panic purchases of heavy metal light bulbs and metal-free lightweight cars to arrest climate change. The greatest addiction of all is to instant access to energy systems. Modern man has become dependent upon unlimited available power from fossilized organic material converted to electricity and liquid fuels. No one will voluntarily renounce reliance upon outsourced energy. Nothing short of the global eco-fascism of Agenda 21 will curb human demand for more energy.

Environmentalism is ego-logical, not eco-logical. Its concern is not natural ecosystems, but managed habitat for perpetual population growth. Should Earth become an urban jungle, with a hundred billion humans living in cells, absorbing carefully regulated doses of energy? Or an actual jungle in which humans are so rare they could never affect ecosystems? Which is scarier?

Earth change is here. Seas are rising, or drying up. Ice is melting, or advancing. Floods, droughts, blizzards, heat waves, typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, sandstorms, whirlwinds are in the forecast!

Earth changes! Get over it!

Good morning friends! This is Yo in Tremont, here today to talk about the WERU Community Soapbox.

It is a wacky whirled out there! After a solid month of surfing bad news: wars and rumors of wars, environmental devastation, social oppression, and the stupid things politicians say presented as fact, I like to kick back with a paranoid rant I can share with the radio listening audience. It feels good to get it off my chest, so to speak, and very gratifying to inspire conversation about matters that affect everyone.

It does require some time and focus, but it’s easy, and fun to compose a screed for radio broadcast. After selecting my topic, I begin with a greeting. I introduce my subject, offer several examples - keeping it under the five-minute limit - and tie it all up in a humorous bow. To finish, I thank volunteers and supporters. Then I hang up so others can call, and I listen to my friends and neighbors continue the conversation. 

It’s that simple!

Though Community Soapbox airs but once a month, or one seven hundred twentieth part of the programming cycle, there are those who think it is an inappropriate waste of airtime. When they aren’t claiming no one calls, they complain it is a platform for the same few old voices saying the same few old things because they won’t change their minds. While it is true some callers are less eloquent than others, they are nevertheless authentic voices of real people, not corporate talking heads implanting alien orders. Rather than monopolizing the show, experienced radio orators set the tone and provide an example for listeners who may be considering calling in for the first time. There’s no question of regulars hogging airtime because calls are aired in the order in which they are received. Anyone can call-in anytime and be the next to speak out on Community Soapbox. This is your community radio and Soapbox is your opportunity to air your funky laundry, live!

So come on! When you get your hackles up, or are planning an event, or wondering what it all means, or just feeling the love, jot down a few notes and call-in today! It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad world. Human institutions founded to benefit mankind eventually identify humans as the enemy, dispossessing and murdering for humanitarian aims, but mostly to protect institutional continuity and the flow of profits. Masses of people are expected to support and obey, and never to question policy handed down from Mount Olympus, as shadow government defies the public will. Sure there are always malcontents who see the glass as half empty, but they are easily marginalized by the politics of plurality. Popular aspirations for peace and prosperity are put on hold in perpetuity. When nothing makes sense besides violence and destruction, THAT’s the CONspiracy. It’s a beach, but what can you do?

You build alternatives. Alternative organizing relies upon donations for capital, volunteer effort for tasking, and zest instead of profit for motivation. There’s a lot of fun to be had getting together with neighbors and making something new. It’s exciting when local people supply their skills and local materials to serve local needs. It may not be as glossy as made-in-China free trade trinkets, but it is in keeping with local traditions of ingenuity, thrift and self-reliance. What’s wrong with that?

One thing about the CONspiracy though, it hates competition. No matter how inclusive the global state becomes, it always covets anything outside its purview. Egypt, Greece and Rome were globalist in nature, they just didn’t know how big the globe is. Wresting control of real estate, resources and populations from competing systems becomes the raison d’etre for all structuring. Abroad, the military enforces compliance with the mandates of central planners. At home the CONspiracy exerts enormous pressure upon all organization to become normal, to play ball, to reenter the fold, to be a team player. Just as terror strengthens totalitarian regimes, outside pressure invigorates alternatives to exert best efforts to resist co-optation. The true scourge alternatives face is from within.

Alternatives always need new supporters, so pretty much anyone who shows up at the door is welcomed, no questions asked. Some quickly tire of working for nothing. They don’t get it. They quit. Some realize their volunteer work is more valuable than any paid employment, and make it part of their daily lives. Some see alternative structuring as an opportunity for their own personal career advancement. It is a premise that every organization needs professional staff because how can someone who isn’t paid be trusted? Professionals create niches for themselves. They can afford to dedicate their energies to devising systems to perpetuate their tenure. It’s all in their heads! Staffers become the face of the organization, which makes them feel indispensable. It’s only a step from there to dispensing with others.

Alternative structuring in decline is marked by cabals of long-term insiders falling back upon CONspiracy programming to defy the public will. By the time staffers are firing volunteers, things have gone too far. It is a privilege to volunteer for a valuable project. It is a particular privilege to be employed to serve volunteers working on a valuable project. In order to keep the rev in evolution, staffers should rotate to volunteer status again. Give someone else a chance! Volunteer power is the blood, bone and sinew of alternatives;

ANYone would work for money..

Elizabeth Warren, senate Amazon and outspoken liberal strumpet, declared recently that people cannot live without government. Bypassing for the moment any conflict of interest inherent in her being a government employee, her statement seems plausible enough. The predictable example she offers is roads and highways. Ms. Warren avers it is inconceivable that each person fixing the road in front of her own house could produce the interstates. That’s certainly true on its face. However, she failed to mention the Eisenhower Interstate Highway System is a strategic roadway. Its intended function is to allow rapid deployment of troops within the U.S. Who hasn’t seen convoys of HMMVs and support vehicles rumbling along on the freeway? But at least any American who can afford a vehicle may take advantage of high-speed, limited access, multi lane roadways that criss-cross the land like a spider’s web, dividing communities yet providing practical vehicular access to nearly every location. That’s progress!

There are lots of other things government does that no person could, or would do:

Militarize society to wage eternal war with repeated provocations, treacherous betrayals and lucrative subsidies for armament manufacture

Institute regressive taxation to propel income inequality guaranteeing squalid living conditions for the masses and ostentatious luxury for the few.

Permit pollution through regulation instead of prohibition of hazardous industrialpraxis

Surrender sovereignty to supranational corporations through treaties that abrogate and annul common law.

Perpetuate invidious policies of legal discrimination based on color, race, creed, country of national origin, gender and income to foment strife and repression

Operate a piratical judicial system to oppress people by extracting monetary penalties for infractions of a myriad municipal, state and federal regulations

Install a network of public and private surveillance so ubiquitous and intrusive citizens become adjusted to never act out, nor speak freely anywhere, anytime

Imprison millions for trumped up violations of oppressive yet opaque rules and regulations

Devise and employ torture techniques calculated to terrorize the world while maintaining a semantic veneer of plausible legality

Construct a gulag of torture franchises in cities and countries whose feudal structuring and brutal administrators allow acts of secret terror

Finance development and procurement of weapons so dangerous they pose a threat not just to human life, but all life.

Ah.. What the hell?! Why dwell on bummy neg outs? Blow the levee in your Chevy and kite out for Vegas! That American dream is waiting just down the road!

It is a whacky whirled. Everything is an enigma wrapped in a paradox, delivered by smile-face talking heads for incontinent consumption by a nation of Pinks whose fondest desire is to purchase plenty of plastic products. There’s no news, there’s no reality – there’s only spin.

Community radio is a voice of many voices, but the manager general’s voice is the voice of WERU, heard every few minutes day and night - on the air, at meetings, at events. Sure, it’s a collective, but even leftists are programmed to follow the leader. 

Though the board quashed the term years ago, they keep saying WERU “business members”, opening the door to ownership of community radio by corporations. 

They say “non-profits” as if it were a good thing tax-exempt corporations control progressive organizing. The non-profit corporation is patrism’s Trojan horse in any community movement. 

Alt-right types are appalled at the barbarity of dark-skinned people removing the heads of criminals with swords; they prefer the clean precision of war machines incinerating unknown innocents with white phosphorus.

Alt-left types are so appalled at the excesses of democracy that led to a Trump administration, they shill for rogue deep-state agencies that not too long ago spied on and oppressed them.

Real or fake, school massacres are horrible. Some say guns should be eliminated, but statistically, more schools are involved in school massacres than guns are, so logically schools should be eliminated.

In today’s patrist culture, women are empowered by behaving in a masculine manner. Men are never empowered by behaving in a feminine manner.

Food stores everywhere now carry organic food. Hooray! However the USDA has relaxed organic standards to the point that the little green USDA Organic label is just cover for genetic engineering, pesticides, preservatives and plastic.

It’s legal now! Foolish ex-hippies parade with their cards to the green store as if buying plastic-wrapped legal pot was their lifelong dream. Smoking weak weed will get them used to losing their licenses, getting fired from their jobs, and being stripped of their rights.

Many deny global warming, but no one denies the waters of the world are filled with plastic. Even if they stopped making plastic today, the toxic effects of plastic in the biosphere will continue for millennia. But they won’t. From bags, to computers, to cars, to space vehicles, everything is plastic! Buy some today!

A problem cannot be solved with the thinking that created it. Patrism, plastic and non-profits are not progressive! Community, consideration, and communication are viable alternatives to corporate structuring, debt, and warfare.

Good morning! Reverend Doktor C. Sarian, voice of the Mid Coast Sub Church of Paranoia with a special paranoid report. 

Dick Atlee presented at the Southwest Harbor Library about the dangers of smart meters. Like many such documentaries, it began with known hazards, warnings from ex employees, anecdotal accounts of harmful effects, barefaced, squirming denials by corporate flacks, government subsidies for companies that create hazards, resistance to policy reducing profitability, retaliation against survivors, and ended with a heartening message of hope, all with an underpinning of bewilderment that industry can be so slovenly and get away with it. 

Whether radio frequency, dirty electricity, ionizing radiation, genetically engineered food, endocrine disrupters in dry goods, the entire toxic pharmacopeia of psyche drugs, anti-bacterials, pain pills and vaccines, powdered metals sprayed in the stratosphere to reduce sunlight, those damn new compact fluorescents, fracking fluid, motor fuel, and a million chemicals in unregulated daily use - the list is endless. A common thread connects all these seemingly disparate subjects: all hurt your body and your mind, all are profitable for corporations, and all are protected by government. Harm is incidental, unintentional, just an oversight, a budget constraint, a regrettable but unavoidable pothole on the road to progress. But nothing more. People are left to wander perplexed as to why they keep doing things that hurt people.

That is as far as most people go. Even ardent left-liberal agonistes know audible analysis of the motivation driving these policies is taboo. A technician declared There is no rational reason to adopt the technology. Exploration of the IRrational reasons for deliberately hurting people leads to the verboten zone of conspiracy theories. Some will recall right wing zealots screaming about reducing population, but that can’t be taken seriously. How could they? As Zbignew put it: One hundred years ago it was easier to control a million people than to kill a million people, whereas today it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than it is to control them. And who would know better than the Grand Chess Board master himself? Or as one careful critic put it: I am not alleging conspiracy, but powerful people are behind it.

Okay, so most people never get beyond wondering why bad things keep happening despite colorful rallies and heartening social media chatter. It is considered bad form to point the finger of blame at ANY party for society’s illth. However, some move beyond blind faith in the benignity of the juggernaut, and develop a clear vision of concerted malevolence in corporate/government, which is what Benito called fascism. 

Smart grid devices are the infrastructure of smart fascism.

New technology becomes ubiquitous before harm becomes obvious. Activists are distracted by Whack-A-Mole reaction against specific hazards as studies are eventually published. This is the revolutionary’s dilemma: Given the appalling, ravenous malevolence of The CONspiracy, what is there to do? Join the fray of civil war between tribal culture and globalism, becoming part of the madness? Or should the true radical let it go, Quit Your Job, SLACK Off! and watch laughing as the whole mess collapses?

It really is too bad. No one has a cogent argument. It is all a bunch of hot gas. Of course, if you are young, you are hearing it for the first time, so it sounds fresh. If you are a boomer, you have heard the same carefully crafted mendacious platitudes in race after race, war after war, decade after decade. When nothing real ever comes of it, you eventually realize it is all a bunch of lies.

Ask any betrayed feel-the-Berner why he now supports Clinton, and the first thing you hear is Trump must be stopped! If you ask the same of an ardent Trumper, you will hear Hillary will take your guns away! Don’t party flacks have anything good to say about their own people? Or is the electorate supposed to choose between the two most loathsome candidates ever fielded?

No sensible person will deny Earth’s climate is changing. Plenty of serious environmental activists see this as a challenge for people somehow to seize control of the weather and stabilize Earth’s climate for more population growth. They mean well, but when they say things like “methane is a more potent greenhouse gas than carbon”, they are just proving how stupid they are. Carbon is not a gas, and methane is carbon.  Here’s another: “erosion began with agriculture”. Oh? Is the Grand Canyon the result of prehistoric policy blunders? But when Naomi Klein opined “Even if global warming isn’t true, it will make us do things we need to do!” What? Isn’t she sure?? Too bad! If they were smart they might convince people to stop fossilized energy abuse.

They’re not sure if the latest mass murder is a terror attack, until, that is, they can concoct some connection with the Muslim faith, the Arab community, or Islamic culture. If that is not plausible, then the attack is ordinary crime, violent extremism perhaps, but not terror. Conspirators swear up and down the war on terror is not a war against Islam, yet Islam defines terror. Drone pilots operating in a secure undisclosed location may think manual beheading of individual criminals under Sharia law is barbaric, but they still get PTSD from watching their own unknown victims get blown to smithereens on their video screens. Everyone, except most Americans, can see the cynical hypocrisy inherent in the imperial globalism of Pax Americana, and they aren’t having it. Enemy is anyone who gets in the way.

You can’t make sense of it because it is all a bunch of bull-oney. Politics, science, history are no longer factual, but have become a battleground of competing memes, denial of service attacks, threats, incarceration or murder for truthers of every stripe, and Orwellian revisionism, censorship and surveillance for which no cogent argument exists. 

There is no perception, only prejudice. There is no policy, only propaganda. There is no program, only persecution. Reality has become a matter of faith. You may believe Donald is a fascist or Hillary is a globalist. You may believe the climate is the climate, or that people cause the climate. You may believe terror is subjective, or that all mass murder is terror. However, it is impossible to prove any of the ironclad beliefs that motivate people to action, and allow criminals to dominate. As a result, debate turns into conflict, conflict leads to war. At least everyone knows war is real.

It’s all so complicated! It’s a conundrum! Everything turns out to be something else than what everyone expected. It seemed like a good thing not to eat fat, but now they say there’s nothing wrong with it. Who knew?

It’s a dangerous world, no one can hope to defend hirself against crimes of all kinds. So police, to protect and serve. Police see themselves as protecting not only citizens, but society at large, from a host of ills, not necessarily just crime in the traditional sense. Because their training, and moral rectitude, whether at work or at play, on the job or off, at their own homes, in the homes of others, or on the street, police believe the solution to any situation is to hit someone. Today in many towns the worst crime problem is police who hit, taser, shoot or kill someone. 

It used to be if the house were afire or burglars breaking in, one had to look up the local number to call for help. Dumb, right? Enter the 911 system. Today from any phone in any location, a quick 911 call connects directly with authorities. What’s your emergency? It could be anything because now the 911 network is a snitch hotline by which anyone can drop a dime on hir neighbor. In fact, no dime needed! A 911 call can be made on a phone that has been disconnected! Dog barking, baby crying, naked swimming, rock n’ rolling – call 911! As officials intervene, another conscientious idiot can sleep soundly, assured of being a good little citizen.

The telephone was once a heavy, clunky thing attached to the wall of a building with a stout cable, and all it did was allow conversation with a party at another location. Today’s phones do just about everything besides making phone calls – take photos, record sounds, make notes, send documents, keep track of the kids. There is something else the new portable phones do: they watch and listen to everything going on around them all the time, automatically sending all that data back to central for compilation, storage and analysis. Billions of “smart” phones worldwide are the sensory tentacles of the digital dragon. The celephone network is the closest thing to Skynet they have invented yet.

Before the advent of the new millennium, nations used to declare war on behalf of their citizens, to repel invasion or acquire new territory. When war aims were met, war was declared over and the victors enjoyed the spoils. No more do nations fight against nations. Today, with the terror war, humans are the enemy - nations form coalitions to fight each other’s populations in war without end.

To primitive humans, the biggest problem was not enough people to gather food and defend against predators. The loss of a skilled hunter could mean extinction for a Paleolithic tribe. So they went forth and multiplied. It turned out that program was too successful. Today, with 7 billion plus humans on Earth the problem is too many people to gather food or defend against predators. The life of an individual has become the cheapest commodity. As governments identify citizens as the enemy, so does the biosphere. Humans are the only species which when removed from an ecosystem, that ecosystem flourishes. People are now regarded as the greatest threat to their environment, but they are determined to stop climate change and build sustainable communities for further population growth.

So what would be more humane? Enabling them to proliferate? Or allowing them to kill each other off?

The story of man, or his story, as it is commonly known, is the record of indiscriminate murder and mass destruction conveniently called “war” for short. As long as there has been war, there has been a military class to wage it. During rare absences of lethal hostilities, they enjoy military exercises – essentially campy cook-outs in full battle rattle – doing all the fun things they do in real war, short of actually slaughtering people they don’t know. 

A lot of people don’t know about Operation Jade Helm, a military exercise taking place this year in nine southwestern states reknowned as hotbeds of open carry kooks, rebellious sheriff’s associations, TEA partiers, preppers and other anti-big-government crazies. The exercises are training for elite units from all branches of the armed services in the imposition of martial law upon a civilian population, featuring dissident extraction operations. Crisis actors have been embedded as sleeper cells in suburban communities. When Americans see Navy Seals or Green Berets drop from black helicopters onto the shopping mall parking lot, pull a hood over some passing citizen’s head and push him into a humvee, they aren’t witnessing the rendition of a real neighbor. It’s just a crisis actor playing a part, to enhance the impression of truthiness to onlookers whose reading is limited to the second amendment. It’s good practice for the troops. Support the troops! And it’s good practice for the populace too, so people won’t freak out when dissident extraction teams come for real. They never practice for a war that isn’t going to happen.

Oh? That’s not paranoid enough? Try this one: birth control. That’s correct. Birth control is one of the deadliest emerging threats to life on the planet. Since the sixties, billions of doses of estrogen mimicking chemicals have been produced, sold and consumed, but not metabolized. Instead they are flushed into municipal water treatment, where they cannot be removed from effluent. Eventually these chemicals wind up in rivers, lakes and the sea where they effectively feminize entire populations of fish so they cannot reproduce. No wonder landings are down! Environmentalists avoid the subject because the leftist alliance with the feminist movement, to which birth control is a sacred cow. That’s cow, no bull. It turns out those right-to-life nuts were right on! Good thing troops drink beer, not water. Support the troops!

Good morning! 

A young Kazach woman, a genuine daughter of the steppes, visited Maine. This twenty something from a tribal village in rural Kazachstan evinced a remarkably broad and lucid, albeit cynical and paranoid awareness of globalist geopolitics. She sees this season’s electoral cage-fight and the absurd global warming farce as organized distractions from the serious problems the world faces: spreading pollution, centralization of ownership, with grinding poverty amidst opulent affluence, and the United States’ push to kick-start World War Three in Syria (long foretold by the way) in order to shore up the crumbling debt pyramid with military expenditures.

This young woman, training in medicine, was intense but affable, pointed but open minded, well-spoken and respectful, both intelligent and knowledgeable - qualities sadly lacking amongst the US public, infatuated as Americans are with media-hyped, emotionally-driven political sideshows, and feverishly opposed to even-handed, well-informed debate of controversial topics. 

Although a proud Kazach – chooses not to speak Russian – she nevertheless does not feel threatened by Russia. She finds Putin to be wise and firm, unlike American politicians, and insists Russians do not want war. She does not see Russia as an aggressor in Chechnya, Crimea, or Syria, although yes in Afghanistan decades before she was born. She could hold her own in a debate with Trump or Clinton, Chomsky or Klein. Perhaps she is an anomaly, but most Americans would be flabbergasted to find how intellectually sophisticated ordinary people from distant, less developed lands are.

Today – Lies and Other Truths

Everything you are told is a lie, everything you know is a lie. Sure, you can point to kernels of verifiable truth amidst the falsehoods, but they are only padding, to increase the “truthiness” of the lie. To paraphrase Winston Churchill – In wartime the lie is so precious it must be attended by a bodyguard of truth. 

There is no “informed electorate”. All official reports are intended solely to control your behavior, not to inform political participation. Absent any informed debate of the human condition, people are reduced to arguing the details of various lies to which they have become attached. By dint of endless repetition, lies become reality, embedded in society, enshrined in history.  Lies are the foundation of the military industrial complex, the essential underpinning of socialist surveillance society, the bedrock of obedient political consciousness. Questioning any popular lie is a one-way ticket to derision, detention or death. 

But you really should know:

USS Maine is a lie. The explosion was caused by coal gas in the fuel bunkers. Result – war with Spain.

RMS Lusitania is a lie. The ship was carrying munitions and was a legitimate wartime target. Result – America enters European war

Pearl Harbor is a lie. The Japanese code had been broken, Roosevelt and Hopkins were monitoring the progress of the Japanese fleet, but did not warn commanders in Hawaii because they wanted war.

Tonkin Gulf is a lie. Phantom blips were falsely reported as an attack. Result – the Viet Nam war.

Persian Gulf is a lie. Sensational reports of babies dumped from incubators were fabricated. Result – the Gulf war.

Gulf War 2 is a lie. False weapons claims were presented to the UN. Result – war.  Dollar denominated oil export policy reimposed in Iraq.

The Kennedy assassination is a lie. Lyndon Johnson gave the order, George Bush directed the sniper team. Oswald was a sacrificial pawn.

HIV=AIDS is a lie. There is no AIDS virus; AIDS is caused by toxins.

9/11 is a lie. Four buildings were demolished with explosives as three airplanes misdirected public attention. Result – war of terror

Terror attacks is a lie. Terror attacks are simulated and self inflicted. Result - fascism

The war on terror is a lie. Taliban militants can’t hurt you; corporations want their drugs and minerals. Result – the longest war.

Global Warming is a lie. Global Warming policy leads to global police state. Humans are powerless to control Earth’s climate.

Genetic engineering is a lie. The only yields increased are profits.  Result - poverty

Obombacare is a lie. It is not health care for people, but wealth care for industry.

Water fluoridation is a lie. Sodium fluoride is toxic, does not prevent cavities, but damages the nervous system. Result – stupidity

Representative government is a lie – all representatives are deeply compromised by personal information held by spy agencies. Result – oppression

National security is a lie – officials claim security to protect their power structure while threatening the people. Result - chaos

Nuclear power generation is a lie. Nukes have never made a profit, are too hazardous to insure, and too complicated to operate safely. Result - doomsday

The world seems pretty crazy if you believe the lies. Why on Earth would they do that? isa rational response to the apparent incongruity between stated goals and the actual effects of policy. Like a picture puzzle with half the pieces inverted, once the lies are flipped over they fall into place perfectly, and suddenly it all makes sense.

As the Bradley Manning trial moves from conviction to sentencing, and Russia offers pro tem asylum to Edward Snowden despite childish tantrums from Washington, their revelations of official misconduct continue to embarrass the Obomba administration, which has responded by castigating them as evildoers who compromised national security while declaring to an outraged electorate the revelations are no big deal. To distract the public from the manifold bureaucratic scandals, fear mongers at the White House ginned up yet another wag-the-dog style terror alert, going the extra mile of closing US facilities in more than a score of Muslim countries, and ramping up oppressive “security” measures stateside. A week later, after a big nothing happened, the consulates are once again open for business, ramped up security measures are still in place, and the public’s fear of other people received yet another booster shot in the arm. Fear of other people is the substrate for public acquiescence to an airtight command structure of censorship, surveillance, torture, assassination and mass murder.

Meanwhile, half a world away, all other problems are mooted by the ongoing cataclysm at Fukujima where intensely radioactive groundwater has topped a barrier and is flowing freely into the Pacific Ocean, steam is rising from one reactor, indicating excessive temperature and lack of containment, and any attempts to handle fragile fuel assemblies in damaged buildings could result in “accidental” criticality. Three years on, there has been zero international effort to secure the site despite the likelihood of poisoning the entire planet with deadly radioisotopes. The response of the US government to the situation so far has been to lower safety standards for US nukes, raise acceptable personal

.exposure limits, eliminate food testing and close monitoring stations. The Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company admitted they lied to the public about the gravity of the situation to preserve public order. There is no political advantage to instilling fear of out-of-control environmental disaster that threatens everyone everywhere.

In our modern fascist dystopia, order is much more important than truth. The overlords of the new world order lie about everything, all the time, to manage public ignorance for crowd control. They lie by commission when they report false terror as history, they lie by omission when everything is redacted or classified, they lie by distraction when obscuring disastrous policy behind Kim Kardashian’s breasts, they lie by misdirection when aligning carefully vetted truisms for the public to draw false conclusions. Lies about climate, lies about terror, lies about finance, lies about law, lies about health; everything they say is a lie deployed to make you behave.

All institutions are corrupt, all institutions lie to their constituencies to reinforce regime rigidity. The only difference between them is bigger institutions have bigger constituencies and tell bigger lies. As Joe Goebbles reminds us: You keep telling the lie, even at the risk of looking ridiculous. The worst crime anyone can commit, worse than raping and murdering little children, is revealing publicly the high crimes and misdemeanors of those who would be king. National Security is nothing more than public relations at the point of a gun, blackmailing, bullying and busting anyone who believes in truth, justice, the American way, by speaking out. 

But so what? It doesn’t matter at all. America won’t even be a memory when hot winds scour a blighted, dead earth with radioactive dust for a million years. Now that’s climate change you can believe in!
